JOB SUMMARY: The IT Senior Manager, is the leader of the IT department, is responsible for the strategic direction, management and support of Tepeyac Community Health Center’s Information Technology systems, applications, and services. This individual will work within a small team to ensure that Tepeyac’s technology goals and objectives are met efficiently and reliably. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of IT infrastructure including cloud-based platforms, networks, telephony and SAAS based applications.
This position will be responsible for four core areas: technology infrastructure, end user computing, applications and services, and vendor/contract management. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who works with the organization to implement, manage and maintain IT systems, networks, applications, processes, and services to meet operational, clinical, and security goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning and oversight of the information technology organization in the selection, installation, management and support of all computer systems, hardware, networks, and applications
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain all Windows based devices and operating systems, network equipment, IT systems and clinic applications.
- Resolve technical issues related to IT hardware, software, systems, and applications.
- Direct the activities of IT staff to ensure technical, operational and end-user objectives are met.
- Serve as the IT Project Manager to identify, evaluate, test, and integrate new technologies and/or upgrades into existing platforms and systems.
- Develop and implement policies related to IT security, disaster recovery/business continuity and risk management.
- Responsible for the oversight and management of all IT vendors, contracts, budgets, and expenses.
- Develop and document staff goals/objectives and track progress to ensure completion.
- Continuously evaluate IT processes, systems, technologies, and vendors, identify areas for improvement/enhancement, and develop/complete project deliverables to achieve outlined goals.
- Create and maintain a technology roadmap defining the strategic direction for the IT organization along with key technological deliverables
- Research and recommend technical solutions to improve clinic and administrative operations, conduct RFI/RFPs as needed, and present proposals for major projects to executive leadership for review/approval.
- Responsible for the technical document library including IT policies and procedures, run books, quick tip sheets and workflow diagrams.
- Act as POC during IT security audits and assessments; remediate findings/issues, as necessary.
- Manage Tepeyac’s IT equipment inventory, including evaluation, purchase, tracking and disposal.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending required internal meetings, trainings, and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field is preferred; can also substitute years of experience.
Minimum Experience:
- Five or more years of experience as a System or Network Administrator (or similar) IT role
- One or more years of supervisory experience in an IT environment
- Microsoft Azure/Entra or Cisco/Meraki certifications highly desirable
- Experience providing IT solutions in a health care environment preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in the Microsoft Azure/Entra cloud computing platform as this is the foundation of Tepeyac’s technical infrastructure
- Proficient in Windows 10/11, Office 365, and SharePoint configuration, management security and support
- Strong experience in networking, cloud-based VoIP/phone systems, enterprise management platforms and ITSM tools
- Project, budget, and contract management experience highly desirable
- Knowledge of the healthcare environment and EHR/EMR systems is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with Tepeyac leadership, supervisors, and employees in addition to outside vendors
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay and Benefits: Tepeyac Community Health Center offers a full compensation package to all full-time employees. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, a 401k, disability insurance paid for by Tepeyac, eight paid holidays, approximately four weeks of paid time off each year and 6 days of sick leave each year. The salary range for the IT Manager/Director position is $90,000-$106,000 depending on experience.
